Well, the whole thing counts 55. So estimate what percentage of the whole pot you are eating, and divide the total carbs by that - for example, if you think you're having a quarter of the whole pot of bolognese, divide the 55 by 4 to get 14 (I'm rounding here).

OK I do 7.6x 7.35= 55.8
worcester sauce-1.3 per 5ml-I put 20 ml in so1.3x 4=5.2
so the whole pot is worth 55.8+5.2=61
I weigh total mixture when cooked lets say its 990g
so then I weigh H's portion lets says its 300g
so my final sum is 300 Divided by 990 x61=18.48

Careful - the mixture will have mince in it, which will add to the weight without adding carbs.

Annette is absolutely right - estimate the percentage of the completed sauce you're eating and calculate from that.

Gosh really- yikes Ive always done it like that! oops

But proportionally there will still be the same amount of carbs per portion. A quarter of the pot = a quarter of the carbs.

Ah, yes, I missed the bit about weighing the total portion and calculating the percentage - delb t is quite right!
