Hi All
I wonder if anyone uses the freestyle libre reader to do actual blood tests.
If so how do you calibrate with test solution?
I know how to use test solution!! but I mean when you use control solution and the reader says in this case 8.1 how do I know that’s ok? As I don’t seem to be able to see a range on the strips or box.
With my nexus machine the pot of test strips says control solution range 6.2-8.3 and when used on a strip tested at 7.2.
I’ve had a few unreliable sensors from the same batch which Abbott’s have kindly replaced and they've asked me to do some blood readings using the reader ... I get even odder results !
Results as follows:-
Scan with reader 10.2
Blood with reader 14.3
Blood with nexus mini ultra 9.2
Blood with tee two 9.4
I’ve no idea which to believe. It is a little high as I’ve had a Thai meal for tea!!! 🙂
