If Type 1 these are provided on the NHS, I am Type 2 insulin dependant and therefore I believe I have the same needs, particularly as twice now paramedics have been called as I had a hypo. Is there any way I can obtain one on the NHS? If not, is there a lobby group fighting the cause?

Hi @PeterV
I’ve heard, from someone outside of this forum,
that some health authorities actually are now funding CGM‘s to T2’s

think this is where the patient is on insulin and testing several times a day
it might be worth asking your GP / DSN - if you wanted to try one

Postcode Lottery, despite NICE guidelines I have and still am self funding sensors, just depends on your CCG!
