cheers, looks quite cool, I like the option to put your mood in..........

Yep, can't wait to get it when it comes out, I just need to gain access to to my boyfriend's ipod touch!!

I know, I'm constantly stealing moments with Luke's iPhone to put on more of my own apps. Just goes to show how handy and practical some of them can be though.

Android has got similar diabetic apps that produce graphs and all that jazz, so if you have one your laughing............

So ... Me being stupid here, but what is an android?? Is that just a phone that isn't an iphone? And if I was to get a new phone would I be better off with an iphone or one of the others?

Android is the other main smartphone operating system...........

Iphones are good, but so is android, I personally would go for android, as its more open to development, but as far as apps are concerned they will both perform well...........

A lot of the new tablet devices emerging are running android...............it just keeps getting better.............

Android is the operating system owned by Google and many of the apps designed for it are open source which often means free. There are thousands of apps available on Android, but you need to be careful what you choose as there's no real quality control and many of them are rubbish. Apple keeps much tighter control over the apps released for their iPhone/iPad devices. Other than that there's not much difference between the two, performance wise they're about equal.

The answer from every company to the question "why do you have an app on iphone and not on android" is always the same - iphones came out first, all the money went into iphone apps, and there's no money to develop them for android yet.

Natalie - what meter do you have. The software has default meal times but you should be an option that will let you tailor the software to your meal times. Once you do that you may get an odd reading in the wrong place but you should be able to edit it so that it ends up in the right place.

I have a free style lite, I have got the CD with the software from my GP. It does odd things like putting an 11:30 reading in the mid afternoon section even though I have set my meal times! I can't work out how to edit individual readings either

I haven't used that meter so can't help but maybe someone else will use it and know how to fiddle it (if you don't use one of the other suggestions that is).

Hi, I guess you are using CoPilot.

I'm guessing that you have gone into the user profile and customized the time periods.

The easiest way to edit an individual reading is to go Reports->Diary List and then just double click on a line to edit it.

Snap! That's partly why I moved over to my own spreadsheet. I just use the freestyle to take the reading and then note it down elsewhere. At least the readings themselves are reliable.

Thanks Mark, I will give that a go. I am pretty new to the program and am still getting my head around it. Do you know how to enter insulin units and carbs?

If you hit F7: Manually Enter Data there should be a row of icons across the top, one being bolus insulin and another food.

It might be the case that you need to go to user preferences to enable them, but for me all the options were there from install.

From what I remember the food one was a bit temperamental and I gave up using it (my meals don't change al that much week-to-week). You also can't delete data once entered - you can change it.
