I have had my follow up appointment with the GP today

HbA1C down to 46 (6.4%) - Already told you guys
Cholestral 3.9
Liver and Kidney function normal

I told the GP that I had been worried due to the increase in my insulin requirements and things had gone a bit haywire but had settled the last few weeks. The GP said I need to stop being so hard on myself !!

I am not showing any signs of Rheumatoid arthritis, however the Osteoarthritis in my hands has progressed and just gonna keep an eye on it - hope it settles down again.

I do have frozen shoulders and the GP gave me the option on having the steriod injectsions or not - I have decided not unless it becomes unbearable. I am in constant pain but still have full movement and if I have the injections this could make the movement worst. Ive put up with it since January anyway 😱

Back again in 3 months for another D review
 
Great Di ! - diabetically speaking, anyway.

'Real' frozen shoulders DO eventually heal, it's just very hard waiting for it to happen .......
 
Great diabetes results.

My Mum had a frozen shoulder, I know how painful it was for her so really sympathise if you have both like it! Especially lifting your little one etc. I hope they heal soon for you.
 
I have had frozen shoulder in both the R and L one but luckily not at the same time.

The painful period is followed by the stiffness which makes it unbearable and an inability to do every day tasks. I couldn't dress myself, bathe myself, drive the car because I couldn't reverse with the pain. Sleep was almost impossible because the pain would wake me up several times. Third stage is the gradual return to normal. Some people never regain full movement.

When the stiffness was at it's worst I had the steroid injections and physio. I think a combination of both helped a lot. It took 2 years for the R shoulder to return to normal and the L one took about 3 years.

I'm so hoping the frozen shoulders buggar off soon!!!!!

I'm currently in so much pain - kinda just trying to get on with things and ignore it!!! Not easy tho x
