Good appointment with DSN...not a huge amount to discuss with her but we went through the history... mainly the lack of support/care on diagnosis...she looked at the figures...said I clearly knew what I was doing...my diabetes control was good...BG right on target...feet okay...circulation okay...poked toes with pointy 'thing' they were okay...weight loss...excellent...Blood Pressure fine (phew)..discussion on testing...she is not one of the don't test brigade...said you can learn so much...however...not sure she would have advocated it...so much better than expected...off to anti-coagulation clinic...level down (again)...frustrated by that...but...nothing I an do about it...it is what it is.

Thanks Linda...was such a relief not to feel like I am going in to 'do battle' with them...and good to finally get some positive reinforcement for a change.

It was a good appointment Sadhbh...TBH I was expecting it with the Warfarin...harder to keep the levels consistent than it is the BG...back there next week...so we'll see...thanks.

Good to hear Bubbsie - usually when the nurses at my GPs do my BP it's excellent whereas if some of the GPs do it, it is in the stratosphere. Always makes me giggle, cos it just shows who I'm more relaxed being around, doesn't it?

Exactly the same at the diabetes clinic where whoever does it, it's high - cos even though I like them all - it's all a bit too important to me, to be as laid back as I'd really like!

Your nurse sounds pretty damn OK all in all ! - and sorry to hear about the 'other' too, so just a quick (genuine!) {Hug} for that.
