Blood pressure dropping even lower!

Any lower Northerner and you'll pass out!😱 Seriously though that is great news and proves what simple lifestyle changes can do, to be sure your doctor will be reducing your bp meds or taking you off altogether.

Just measured my blood pressure again, and for the first time ever (to my knowledge!) it has dropped below 100 systolic - it was 99/59 😱 . This has come down from 160+/95+ a couple of months ago, so it's a huge drop. I'm seeing my GP on Thursday and will ask if I should reduce my medication - fewer pills, yayyy!!! :D

All down to sleeping better, running, and no alcohol! 🙂

Yikes! That's way too low Northe, but congrats anyway. Graham's mum, I've been about that low in the past and I did faint! What's your secret? I usually hover around the 112/69 mark which is on the low side, but lately I've been up as high as 135/80. That could have been a combination of stress and white coat syndrome though as I was not at all well at the time, what with side effects and sky-high BGs.

I've been keeping a record every day this month to have a decent set of data at my annual review.

I seem to be mostly ideal-normal first thing in the morning (113/74 p 52 today), but more usually high-normal and sometimes a little higher by teatime (133/88 p54) yesterday teatime). Don't often test before bed, but when I do things seem to have dropped back toward Normal.

Interested that your booklet advises testing at different times of day, mine suggests that (because often first thing will be lower) you test at the same time of the day!
