I decided to check my blood pressure earlier today. I used my mum's blood pressure machine. I would like to get one myself, when I have the finances.
Anyway, I liked the result 135/89. In the lower part of the screen a heart shape and the number 65. When I was at the doctor's it had read 145/83.
Next, when I have the finances, I will buy some strips to test my Blood glucose myself. Saw my therapist on Tuesday - very empowering session. Will make an appointment to discuss with my doctor my meds for my recent depressive episode, possibly reducing it FROM 100MG TO 50MG (Setraline).
Midweek already - I hope to go out this Friday, Last Sunday I went to see the Avengers Movie with my brother - I thoroughly recommend it BIG TIME! Talk about too much of a good thing (rice crackers), I love those too much, feel a bit ill. Nothing to do with diabetes, more the result of overindulgence. Sesame stick seeds however, don't give me that effect, they are a lovely snack to have. As I was from the early morning until mid afternoon - diet was mainly the nut crunchy bars until I got home. ( Big improvement from this time last year. It would have been crisps, or sausage rolls, cornish pasties etc). However, no more rice crackers for some time - too much of a good thing. Until the next rant...
