Usually they run off with that red book at birth... it becomes part of your NHS records.Tryed to search around for my little red book i had through pregnancy but cant find it anywhere, was wondering if my blood group had been recorded in there but alas if i cant find it i will never know 🙄
Why do you want to know? - cos I was told even with a blood donor card they wouldn't believe it and would retest!
Thanks all for your various input
My o,h knows his as he was in the army and apparetly its mandatory....I will get in touch on Thursday with my GP.s receptionist as i know its the nice one that day 😛
And now on the second different tack - should I have applied for a further Exemption card, bearing in mind this one expired mid March 2011 - a month before my 61st birthday?????????????????????????????????????
Steff you right, in the forces it's mandatory for your blood group to be done, this was then on your ID card and on your dog tags.. Les was in the RAF (medical discharge for diabetes)
I found mine out when I was first pregnant with my twins which sadly I lost at 5 months.. But I like Les are common us muck.. O pos🙄
So it should be on your medical records somewhere and I'm sure it should be easy for them to find, as it's one of the pieces of information that is on the outer sleeve of your paper records..
