To pierce or not to pierce that is the question.
I have lost the feeling in my toes and top of my foot due to nerve damage during back surgery. Hence I am prone to "bump" into things without really noticing - unless it is the door frame when foot and leg stop and the rest of me keeps going!! When doing my nightly check I have found a huge blood blister over the top of my big toe. Over an inch across and about 3/8 inch back to from. I can vaguely remember a stumble over the back door metal frame but thought nothing of it at the time. Advice from anyone before I bother the surgery please. Skin not broken anywhere and no bruising showing. Pressure on the area causes no pain - but then it probably wouldn't. The minimal movement I have in my toes seems to be the same so not broken!
