Well the results of my test -bloods and loads of stuff to find the reason for my thinning hair. Everything came back as normal (which is good to know). Am now left with the stress option. Which after the past few months is no great shock and my hair was neglected. Things are much better now, diabetes currently managed, (hands and knees work) so I will see what happens. A lesson for me I was always confident and now appreciate how easy it is to lose that:confused:

I am glad that you have ‘normal’ results. Stress can have a big impact.
Perhaps now that you know more, and with new haircut, things will settle for you.
It is surprising how easily you can be knocked from a steady road.
I was amazed how this happened to me, but there has been plenty of support
from people on here, that put me back on track.

Thank you :D

Sharron, do you have the actual results? One man's normal can be another's not so good, and when it comes to metabolic health, a combination of things can make for an issue.

For some tests the "normal" range is just a range, but there can be advantages to being towards the top, or bottom for that matter, of certain "normal" ranges.

I'd urge you to get a hold of your actual results if you don't already have them and do a bit of research from there.

Many thanks I have all the actual numbers and the doctor was pleased with them all. I was able to compare them with my last blood tests in July and even my cholestrol had gone down. I did think the hair thing was stress related.🙄
