Well i went to the eye clinic today, had the usual read the chart, then drops, wait for nearly 2 hours for the specialist to see me to be told by him that my left eye has had quite a big bleed and that he is going to make me an appointment for 3 to 4 weeks to have fill in laser treatment.Fill in laser is just filling in around where they have used laser before.Where there is small gaps.If after this treatment either of my eyes start to bleed again{ive had both eyes lasered}they are going to operate at the back of my eyes,in the jelly that protects the back of the eye.He said this will stop any future bleeds but wont operate untill both eyes have had a complete course of laser treatment. My right eye was completed in 1990 and touch wood ive never had a bleed since it was finished. So ive just got to wait for the appointment to come through.I have to wait this long for the laser because there is still dried blood floating around in my eye and he said the laser would not fully penetrate through the blood if they did it now.

Goodluck with the treatment Whitty, hope they manage to stop any future bleeds so you won't need surgery.

Hope all goes well with the treatment. Let us know how you get on. 🙂
