I normally buy Heck sausages which are nice. After reading about BF sausages on here we tried them last night . They are nice and tasty, well seasoned too. I did find the skin a bit thicker than I like but for sausages that taste as good as these I can put up with that. The only trouble is, they don't sell them in my usual supermarket, so next time I shop in Sain.....s I'm stocking up

Sainsbury own brand are lovely as well, look for the gluten free ones as lower - 0 carbs if you want them that way.

I'm very annoyed that my local Co-op changed from Black Farmer to Heck :( Heck aren't so bad, but I prefer BF, so stock up from Sainsbury's when I need to get some Burgen S&L (which my local Co-op also stopped selling! 😡)

I agree, the skins are thicker/tougher, but that is one of the things I prefer about them - I find the texture is more 'meaty' than Heck also.

I like Tesco's traditional pork sausages, I have 3 at a time 😳 but the 3 are only 2.4g carbs but I was thinking about trying the Black Farmers 🙂 x

You won't be disappointed, they are really tasty and like @Northerner says have a more meaty texture.

Thanks I'll look out for them.

I get the Tesco ones too. I used them to make my scotch eggs.

Oh God, that reminds me of when I used to go to a mate's house every Saturday. We always had sausage sarnies with skinless Richmond sausages & no butter. Awful, they were.

The last time I Bought Tesco sausages all I could taste and smell was spices could not taste the meat so stopped buying them , Now I go to a proper butcher.
