I'll be there. If all goes to plan with buses and train I should be there around 11.45. <<<<<<<< That's me, although I won't be in my cycling gear and I'll have my glasses on.

I am now sadly not coming as staying in Yorkshire and then going to Liverpool. I would have loved to have come and met some of you.

Alan I am so sorry but unfortunately I won't be able to make it to the Brummy Meet as I had hoped I was so looking forward to meeting everyone and putting faces to names especially Ditto ~ New Journey ~ stephknits ~ of course your good self too and dare I say it ~ our dam...sel DF!

Massive apologies from me too, I'm afraid, but for various reasons we are now not going to be in the area this weekend. Fingers crossed for another time.

Trains from Glasgow delayed due to "person struck by train" outside Abington

5.50, 6.30 and 7.30 trains delayed, indefinitely which means the odds against picking up a connection in Preston in time to get me to Birmingham in time to see everyone......

So I have made the sad decision to call it quits. Really sorry everyone

Sorry everyone, I've only just been able to get online now It's a real shame that the Meet will not go ahead, it's normally one of our most popular ones. Hopefully, we will be able to get as many people together as possible for the next one - the Glasgow one in October is looking to be well-attended 🙂

I didn't check on the thread and did not realise it was cancelled so went along. Pub packed and not sure how to find anyone. Hubby and I went elsewhere for lunch and I was going to leave a message on the thread asking how to find members and then noticed it had been cancelled. I should have checked situation beforehand. We were in Birmingham anyway as going to theatre in afternoon. Live near Brum so it was no bother to go in.

Look forward to next one as will be nice to meet some of you in person.
