i made a slight ooops today i drank half a bottle of full sugar pepsi thinking it was no sugar max but the damage was done my bs reading was 20 and drank plenty of water to bring it down...but was wondering what else could i have done besides a visit to the hosp..
what does everyone else do in a high blood sugar situation

Drink water till the cows come home 🙂...and just keep testing,if it failed to come down within a period of time id take myself off to hospital.

Hopefully, with something like full sugar coke, it will hit your system fast and also leave quickly and drinking lots of water should help flush out the excess. I'm lucky because I could just inject some insulin, but I think a lot of members who aren't do some gentle exercise to help bring levels down. 🙂

What Steff said. Aside from drinking loads of water there's not an awful lot you can do but wait it out. How are you now?

oh no :( I hope you've managed to get them back down....I'm the same as Alan, T1 so I'd inject. hope the guys advice works for you.

I don't know if any exercise would help??? (not sure how it works with T2's sorry)
