Morning, Could anyone give advice on what are the best/most accurate BG monitors as I think I am going to buy one as I would like to know what foods affect my BG levels. I see the DN tomorrow but I am sure she will say I don't need one but really want to understand my Diabetes and how things affect me. I have been doing so well on the 800cals diet and have found it easy, I think it is because I now know I need to lose weight as apposed to yoyo dieting like I have done for years.
I feel very positive and my aim is to push this into remission, my levels are at low 55 but I do need to lose a lot of weight so this is my mission right now.
I am so grateful for this site as I have gained so much information from you all so thank you everyone. Being diagnosed only a couple of weeks ago really did scare me and now I feel better about the whole situation.
