Had a bad cold for a few days - worst day was Monday - but over it now. Was concerned to see my BG levels raised but as they have dropped back again I'm assuming it was due to being unwell, multiple doses of Lemsip and lots of Strepsils.

My wife initially wondered whether it was flu. I had my flu jab weeks ago so maybe it was but it just didn't get a hold.

Glad to here you’re over you4 bad cold. It’s likely that the virus was responsible for raising your BG with some help from the Strepsils , , not sure about he lemsip as I’ve never used it.
For some of us ,BG levels changing for no apparent reason is an early warning that we are not going to be well soon.

Glad you are better now Martin. There are some really nasty colds doing the rounds this year.

Glad you are feeling better Martin, illness can raise the BG levels, possibly so can lots of strepsils 🙂
I think lemsip has minimal carbs last time I looked.
