Following the good news that my HBA1C level had reduced yesterday, I just did a fingerprick test just now and it was 1.3mmol! I feel absolutely fine, but that's very low!
 
Hi Edgar, sounds like a duff test strip to me - you'd most certainly feel a 1.3! 😱 If you get a test that appears way out it's best to do another test to confirm - it is possible, although rare, to get a faulty strip.
 
I agree with Northie. If you were in the 1’s you would have been profoundly affected - possibly unconscious! Some people can just about function at that level, bit only after they have had recurrent fairly frequent hypoglycaemia for years and the brain has adapted to ‘cope better’ below 3.
 
It was a duff strip, in fact I had a few probably because I haven't used it for some time. Did it again and got 8.8. Thanks.
