As a new member I would like to take this opportunity to thank all for their responses to my queries. I now realise that prior to my diagnosis my knowledge of diabetes was just all I needed to know as a first aider.

It is quite surprising how much is learnt when one has the condition! I am getting to get to grips with my eating, which seems to be stable, with the occasional hiccup.

My 14 day averages are now pre-meal 5.4, post-meal 7.0, overall 6.8, my lowest 4.8 & highest 9.7

I would like to wish one and all seasons greetings and all the very best for 2012.

Cheers

PS: When I say merry, I mean it, but hey, not too much😎

I'm glad to hear that you enjoy using the forum and have found it useful macabee 🙂 Those numbers are really excellent!

Merry Christmas!
