Hi,

Although I’ve had type 2 diabetes for a while this is my first post here.

Most of the low carb apps I’ve looked at are based on a monthly subscription, which is fine., but choosing from the many available is difficult, particularly as some are US centric.

Can anyone recommend a good app that has barcode capability, recognises UK foods, offers recipes with opt out foods and is a reasonable monthly cost?

Thank you,

Jonathan

Johnathan I'm new here too and the only app I know about is the my fitness pal.
that tracks your calories carbohydrates sugar fats etc.
I hope this helps you,you can get the free version or the premium one which you pay for.
I'm thinking about buying that, I've used the free one for years.

Nutracheck for me every time. Tracks carbs, calories, protein, fats, salt etc. Huge database, barcode reading, and ability to add your own recipes. £29.99 a year for the app only version, they offer a free 7-day trial.

I use nutracheck. It’s UK based and has pictures which for me makes it a million times quicker to use than my fitness pal. I’d suggest the app only version.
