I struggled to find a breakfast cereal that didn’t give me big changes in BG. Even porridge seemed to hit my system faster than it’s slow release reputation would suggest
My go-to for many years has been seeded bread toast (which I know wouldn’t work for many here). Particularly if the bread is frozen and then thawed.
I swore off cereals for years (All Cereal Is Evil), but actually in the last couple of years I’ve had a bit more success with a carefully timed pre-bolus and the forum ‘creamy Greek yoghurt, berries, and sprinkle of granola’ breakfast. Very tasty and nice as a change every now and then. 😛
