Bending cannulas.

I am using Medtronic 640 pump. I am having really bad trouble with their cannulas. I have tried all of their cannulas and they are bending/kinking, so insulin is permanently high. Please has anyone got any ideas what I can do? I'm going out of my mind with them.

have you tried the sure t cannulas, they are metal and don't kink.

At a recent pump update I think Medtronic showed me a different device which enabled you to fire the cannula in yourself. I couldn’t get the auto ones to work at all.

Have you tried angled cannulas @spiritfree ?

I found they suited me much better than the 90-degree ones. Silhouettes are the ones I use.

Or as @MrDaibetes says, the Sure-T are pretty kink-proof!

Try inserting yourself rather than the automatic inserters. Also have you tried a different length of cannula?
I have had some really crappy cannulas from medtronic as well which kept kinking even though I self insert. These were sent back and replaced.
