Before Tea/Evening Meal

tonight another unicorn

following a I think work related (stress induced) higher than “normal” levels most of today
one of those days best describes as ….
🙄 relieved to get back home
 
Evening all, I'm happy with my 7.0 this fine day - shepherd's pie for dinner tonight, one of
my favourites so it will be a decent portion or else!!
 
5.6 for me. Pretty chilled day in the office. Grant claim finalised and the boss is very pleased with my work.

School have suddenly taken a massive interest in supporting the boy which is fantastic. They're now throwing all the support they can at him and he's starting to feel more positive about it all and is proactively engaging with people which is new.

And I'm now just chilling chucking out and dits and dahs on the cootie...
 
I was hopeful of another unicorn tonight but when I looked no a HS tonight
probably the flattest line I’ve ever seen

but with a lot going on at my work ended up kind of snacking today
rather than a proper lunchtime meal, good job I pack up healthy snacks to take with me
chopped apple & strawberries in Greek Yoghurt, a container of small container of nuts, and a pickled egg

a far cry from the time a few tears ago when food when I was out the hose was, from a takeaway or chocolate & other bagged snacks

Struggled to get below 8 for a few hours today/tonight. Possibly because I'd not eaten much but perhaps impending poorliness/flare if I had to guess.

6 just now on jumping into bed so not too bad 🙂
 
And a 6.4 for me on this fine sunny day.
 
5.2 this evening just about to have chicken and leak with a creamy cheese sauce and a tiny portion of rice

daughter is in the kitchen making brownies which I will indulge later they don't spike me so looking forward to one

8.9 but post run which was a mix of anaerobic and aerobic so BG a bit less predictable than on a pure base run.

Just about to jump on the radio for some CW. My bit of self-therapy

The boy had an excellent power lifting session too and his trainer is so good with him. And he now takes himself there - don't know many gyms that would be happy with a 12yo rocking up on their own for a session but they actively encourage it and it's giving him a sense of independence which is great. He's fully supervised whilst he's there and he loves being treated as an equal and not as a kid.

DNA match 'scandalous mystery relative' case solved induced anxiety was so bad around tea time today that Dex was showing 11.2!
Possibly also due to not eating much on top of all that but oh what a day!
