I fitted the 'before' doors in 2002. The doors fitted by earlier occupants of the house were quite crude and made of hardboard on a wooden frame. The doors weren't actually exterior doors. I re-enforced them on the inside and gave them plenty of coats of exterior gloss. They have lasted twenty three years so I'm not complaining.

The 'after' doors consist of one exterior door and one sheet of 400mm jointed board which was fortuitously just the right width. The board had a smooth face so I used a router to make it match the main door in appearance.
Note the new catflap. Max, our big tabby cat, is starting to get a bit chonky and was having to wriggle a bit to get through the original one. This one is just a little bigger.
