Hi lovely people
Been a while since I posted , hope everyone doing well
Just wanted to let you know am still here , can’t remember my last update so will fill you in
Pancreatic Cancer diagnosed last June , had a whipple op in August followed by chemo that finished in March
Its been tough , cannot lie but im very grateful
Recent scan has shown a little something on my liver , fingers crossed its just scar tissue or vascular something or other , off for mri etc soon
My diabetes which is type 3c is under control with insulin and diet , its tricky as sometimes whatever is left if my pancreas kicks in a bit sometimes
I just wanted to post , without alarming or scaring anyone to give the following message
If you are diagnosed with diabetes type 2 but have other symptoms that include indigestion, pain under ribs or and back ( bra strap line ) , loss of weight ,bonkers sugar levels and any sign of jaundice please insist on further testing
I am one of the very lucky ones as was diagnosed early , wanted to share to make people aware
Lots of love
Sam

Lovely to hear from you Sam and glad you are over the worse. Good luck with the MRI. We now have 3c on the drop down diabetes type box. We’ve been acknowledged, at last! Keep in touch. Elaine. X

Hello, nice to read your positive post. 🙂

Hello @Samseal6
Welcome back, and many thanks for the update on how things are going for you.
It is very helpful to increase awareness of symptoms that could be problematic.
