I have posted the link to an article above that suggests some evidence that the bcg vaccine may help to reduce the autoimmune cells that kill the insulin producing cells in Type 1s.

Thought it would be of interest and helpful to get any further views / insights on this.

As BCG vaccine isn't particularly effective against TB, it would be great if it can help humans in some other way. (6001st post!)
