Well done to BBC Radio London for this. I know we're a minority but in general there's little recognition in the media of Type 1. The term diabetes is used in the media and elsewhere as shorthand for T2 diabetes often referring to lifestyle choices, obesity etc. Acknowledgement of our condition like this is a welcome thing.
