I'm on Tresiba and currently on 6 units, but I have to change my dose fairly frequently - it varies between about 4.5 units - 6.5 units.

The last time I was on MDI I used Levemir, 14/15u when I got up and another 4/5u at c 9.30pm at night. Prior to that, 18u Lantus at bedtime. But - I was 5ft 2, dress size 10, ate more and pretty active. Now 5ft nothing, size 14/16 and not very active At All. JUST RUDDY OLD !

Oh - as soon as I and 6 other ladies (all younger than me cos the same day together changed from MDI to our first pumps - all our TDD Basals were automatically reduced by one third, so think I started out at 12uTDD but since then (well over 10 years) it's hovered sometimes less than 10, sometimes nearer the 12u. 11 ish right now. Never any mega changes these days.
