hi guys..had a great time in devon...i so love to be beside the seaside...:D...anyway i have had to do another urine sample....doc reckons it may be something to do with kidneys....they do hurt sometimes...anyway if it is to do with kidneys, anyone got an idea of what the tablets may be that i am put on....not jumping the gun but dont like surprises....thanks.....

Glad to hear you had a good holiday! 🙂 I suppose it would really depend on what the problem is - could be an infection or kidney stones and may be unrelated to your diabetes. If it is to do with diabetes/high blood pressure then they usually put you on blood pressure medications such as ramipril, candersartan etc. Some people experience side-effects, but there are lots of different types available so it's relatively easy to change to a different one 🙂

Hope it proves to be something minor 🙂

Please try not to worry. I was I'll after recovering from a car accident 16 years ago and was told by the GP to accept thAt it was my kidneys failing. He was wrong, it was a simple infection and my kidneys are still doing well after 42 years of diabetes🙂 however if it is the early stages of kidney disease they can give you tablets. I hope that everything is ok for you x

I have been given rampiril at a low dose because that is said to repair damage. When caught early enough it is possible to repair damage.
