Hi guys, sorry not been on for a long time. I was admitted to hospital on the 16th June with a badly infected appendix,
the surgeon said later that in another 24 to 48 hours I would have died.
Whilst in there I had to put up with all sorts of garbage treatment and decisions that were basically, wrong. After being discharged I had to be re-admitted with an acute infection in the cut from the operation.
One thing that happened was that I have been left with a numb left leg which the surgeon said was from the operation and the femural nerve had been trapped and this was common but normally rectifies itself over a period of time. Then along came the "knob consultant. He said that it was nothing to do with the operation but it was DIABETIC NEUROPATHY."😡 This obviously pee'd me off big style as I thought that this only occured after long periods of high blood sugars which I haven't had. I'm seeing my diabetic consultant soon and i'm going to ask him.
The thing is that most of the time I was in I had to fight and argue about things that happened when I knew I was right. it makes me sound like a big gob and trouble maker but i'm anything but.
Sorry for the rant but it's off my chest now!!!!!!!
