Why do things happen in 3s!!
For some reason although eating exactly the same breakfast, injecting same bolus and basal my midday check was 3.7. Wasn't planning to eat as shopping later. Did no exercise - not even dusting - quietly sitting finishing some cross stitch for a birthday card on Monday. Did not feel bad at all. So a small banana and a toffee custard pot (there are some good things for having a hypo!).

Before lunch 5.8. Usually wash up before eating - this time didn't. Broke my pen when changing cartridge - the plunger would not go in and it snapped in half. Sorted out spare, new cartridge, injected for meal plus fruit which I usually eat witin an hour of meal when relaxing in front of the tv. Washed up after dinner, went to inject bolus - that also needed new cartridge.
When eventually sitting down felt hot and sweaty and generally unwell and flu-like. Tested 3.8!! 5 jelly babies and 20 minutes 4.7 cereal bar and 45 minutes 9.7. Bed on 9.8 and this morning 6.3.

Today have reduced breakfast ratio from 1:10 to 1:12.5 and hope midday better as not planning to eat til 2pm.

Why did I feel so different with the readings of 3.7 - absolutely no symptoms to 3.8 when really felt awful - not like my usual rubber legs and slight sweat.

Perhaps I need to move my basal evening dose to mid evening rather than after dinner. Dose itself seems ok as within 1.5 bedtime to morning.
Any ideas - or is it just one of those things - yet again:confused:

Hypo symptoms can be more pronounced if your levels are falling quickly, or can vary for a number of reasons, so they won't always feel the same when showing the same level - you will get used to things eventually 🙂 Although obviously you want to try and avoid having hypos, it's almost inevitable to have a few when you are aiming for tight control as there will be times when all the different variables at play will conspire to drop you lower than you expect. It's also possible that your sensitivity is improving.

But you are doing a really excellent job of managing your levels now - I am sooo impressed with how quickly and well you have got to grips with things! 🙂

Thanks Northerner - you always come back with just the right sort of comment.
