Relationship to Diabetes

A bit of an unusual question, so please read on!

Do any members participate in shooting as a sport or passtime? I am about to apply for a firearms certificate to keep a bolt action rifle for use at licensed shooting clubs.

The application form (Issued by the local police force) mentions medical history (Obviously) and specifically Epliepsy, Mental Illness and Alcohol / Drug dependency (None of which I suffer from) but obviously realise that I must mention my diabetes.

Does anyone have any experience of this process?
