Are boiled or poached eggs consumption recommended for diabetics ?

if so how many eggs can I safely have daily or weekly ?
 
Yes, eggs are pretty much carb free and full of goodness so make the most of them in your diet as they shouldn't cause your BG levels to rise and they will help to fill you up and prevent cravings. I particularly like them in omelettes as I can then vary the filling and they are easy to eat without the need for bread/toast which is high carb, to soak up the yolk. I usually have my omelettes with mushrooms, onion, courgettes, peppers, ham. aubergine or cheese..... usually a combination of those. I serve them with a large salad and a big dollop of coleslaw.

2 eggs a day would be reasonable, but maybe not every single day.
 
Too many eggs can bung you up a bit I think?
 
Yes they can bung you up if you happen to be prone to being that way! Personally hardboiled eggs are the worst culprits even though I smash em up and eat them as egg mayo so you'd think the oil in the mayo would counteract the effect. But no!

Ordinary boiled, poached or fried, scrambled, made into omelettes, don't have an adverse effect on anything.
 
Never been told cant eat eggs, after all they are full of goodness so would be puzzled if not recommended.

Consume approx dozen weekly, always loved eggs always will, no adverse effects of eating them so dont intend to stop. Not fuzzy who they come, fried boiled scrambled poached, draw line at eating them raw.
 
Eggs are certainly an important part of my diet, and I eat one most days - cooked many ways.
I also usually keep a couple of hard boiled eggs in the fridge that can be used as a no-carb snack in an emergency.

(Important to clearly differentiate them from the raw ones though or, as I found out once, it can lead to a bit of a messy situation if you get it wrong)

Off to make breakfast now - scrambled eggs with a few chives from the garden.
 
Eggs are listed on the Healthline website as one of the best foods for controlling diabetes but it doesn't give any suggestions for how many you should eat or how often.

week approx either boiled or poached love them, they come in handy as part of my weight losing diet.

When first diagnosed with T2D I went Low Carb and so changed my breakfast (the same each day) from whole oat porridge to 2 hard boiled eggs. So I was eating between 14 and 18 eggs per week for several months. I'm fat adjusted now so I no longer need to eat before midday.
