Aaargghh! nearly 30g carb for ONE portion!

Sorry Greg - I know I'm T1 anyway - but that's still a whole meal's worth of carbs for me.
 
That's nearly a days carbs for me!!! lol

Still as a one off it is not bad going. You could reduce the carbs even further by using bergen bread and sugar substitute instead of the molasses.😉

It was ok with me actually. 5.2 before dinner, 6.1 1 hour after, 5.4 2 hours after. I did use half as much molasses as they said and was still sweet enough. I don't usually spoke with apples and maybe the cream I served it with helped
