Does the change in weather affect everyone elses appetitie?
Or it might be we have a new caterers at work. The sandwiches are invariably on white bread and mainly meat which is not properly cooked at best. There are lots of cakes with butter cream icing all over them and hardly any fruit.
I'm not sure if it is the food on offer at work or the metformin that has spoiled my appetite. And if I don't eat enough or properly when I take the pills, in an hour or two my tummy is off again.
I start work at 7am, so leave home around 5.30-5.45. If I make sandwiches or a packed lunch, it needs to be done the evening before and by the time I get to mid day I don't fancy it. Because of the way the building is constructed there is no where to keep stuff cool or reheat it (things like home made soup and whole meal bread make a great lunch).
If I go out for lunch we have Burger King, Macdonalds and Pizza Express close to work, but it can work out expensive finding the healthy option every day as well as time consuming.
Anyone else got any thoughts? I'm thinking of buying out the catering company and putting better cooked healthier food back on the menu!
