Thank you Grovesy

It is too early in the day for a hot toddy, but come 6:00 pm!! (Why is it always 6:00?)
Seriously I do hope things start to settle soon. Just keep that extra insulin giong in during the day to keep the levels in check. For nights I wonder whether your cold is keeping you awake or waking you up. Can you use those opportunities to do a correction (although I suspect you are already diong this)
Take care.

Thank you 2b2015. A hot toddy sounds a good idea 🙂 Yep the cold is keeping me up so I'm doing corrections during the night but fortunately daytime levels aren't too bad.

Unbelievable the cough has got worse, I've been sick and struggling to get BG under 16 despite corrections and TBR.

Oh no sorry to hear this . Tbph I think it would be best to contact your out of hrs gp service now.

Thank you Grovesy and LJC. I went to out of hours last Saturday when this all kicked off and because it's viral there's nothing they can do. After being aggressive with my insulin I'm now down to 5.1, the cough hasn't been so bad this afternoon and my third lot of anti-sickness tablets for today have just kicked in - not as good as usual but could be worse.
