There's a half hour report on now about medical assistance dogs - the first 15minutes has been focussing on dogs and diabetes. Might be on iplayer if of interest to anyone.

Ah! Watching Antiques Roadshow at the moment, will try and find it online later 🙂

Hi Monkey - I watched with great interest - amazing live action on the little boy and his dog when he had a hypo and the dog noticed it during the recording.

Assistance dogs can do all kinds of amazing things, like detect hypos and seizures, and act as eys or ears for people. Many people will often accpet the help of an animal and it is great they can live more independent lives as a result.
