The Tesco healthy living crustless quiche's? are they any good? x

Using Pet70 tip from another thread (can we tag other users on this forum) of using Pinterest for ideas for Low Carb food.

Last night came across recipe for minature quiches, basicly oil cake muffin tray line with slices ham, chicken then pour in whisked egg, cheese etc or just crack egg in and bake for 20 minutes

I haven't tried any store baked ones, I make a crustless quiche sometimes for lunches, and it's fine. To be honest it's much like eating a Spanish omelette really. From a diabetes point of view it doesn't really help me because eggs in large quantities tend to make my blood sugar spike more than pastry would so if I'm quiching I tend to stick with a small slice of standard quiche 🙄

I make my own too. So easy. Though I suppose if you're out & about & fancy a nibble, the Tesco crustless quiche should be OK.

Sound good to me! My body doesn't much like pastry...it beings the DF running with evil intent! :D

I just don't fancy a no carb meal, as I rely on Insulin for my meals, I prefer to eat something to take insulin for, i.e bread, pastry something like that
