Hello Pattidevans, looks like i have a lot to thing about with the suggestions from everyone 🙂 How simple was it for you to change your insulin? did you ask for the Apidra or did your consultant recomend it? This may be a last resort if other things don't work 🙂
I just asked for it and the endo said he saw no problems.

Do you have a half unit pen for your Levimir. Mine has the reminder in the top as well. It's a Novopen Echo.
Being out may have given you a false reading of your normal reaction - unless you go out every night of course!

I only went to play Darts and only had diet coke and no food (even though it smelt lovely i somehow amazingly managed to resist:D) My Levermir pen doen't do half units - maybe i should see if they do one?

Oops!

Well maybe it wasn't such a good idea to drop the Levermir by 1 unit as i was 5.6 before bed, so decided to have a digestive thinking that would take it up to about 7.....
5.3 at 3am and because i was half asleep didn't think that yesterday it fell by 2 units after then i did nothing about it so at 6.30 this morning i woke up to a 3.0 😱
Levermir back to normal tongiht i think and see what happens - maybe i was a bit too quick to change it??
