Anyone Else Suffer From Boils Or Hard Spot Like Pimples On Scalp

Is this something totally unconnected with diabetes.
They seem to come in groups and are generally from the crown down to the back of my head.
I am 54 and have not had acne since my teens but these things are so annoying.
They only last a few days and then go away.
Mostly they are very hard and go down on their own.
Anyone else get them.
Damned itchy at times too.
When i get the barber to run a number 2 over my head it's like the surface of the moon sometimes.😱

Blood glucose levels that are sligthly above normal range can aggivate or lead to spots etc... As the excess glucose means we are more suceptable to infections etc..

If it's causing a problem speak to your dsn/doctor the next time you see them..

I got Ache when I was 30 several years after finding out I was diabetic caused by the diabetes... Which I had gone up until then through life without a blemish on my skin..

I asked my doctor if it meant I was a born again Teenager He replied NO

I used to have problems with 'spots' around my neck and back and occasionally on the scalp.

Since I've got my levels on the level the problems have cleared completely.
