Recently when I get up in the morning, and when I start to walk after being at the computer for example, the bottoms of my feet hurt. Does anyone else get this? I have ok sensation in my feet and no other complications.

I find I get it if I sit awkwardly or can't stretch my legs. My feet hurt most when my old shoes start to get worn. If it is persistant or you can't explain it, it may pay you to see a doctor or podiatrist.

Is it a sharp pain or the type of pain you get after going for a long walk? I think the podiatrist would be getting a call from me if it persists. Hope it resolves itself soon 🙂

Liike after a long walk, as if the bottoms of my feet are bruised. I just spoke to my Dr friend and she says that all types of neuropathy of feet (if it is neuropathy) can be helped by massage to get the circulation going, and to get the lymph moving. BUT not while your blood sugar is high, when it's normal.

the pain in the top of my foot is sharp.

Have you had higher than usual levels lately? Hopefully it is just a transient thing. Does a good soak in Radox or something alleviate it at all?

I've had sore feet too at times, usually when my BGs were running really high for a while. Part of it was caused by ill fitting and unsupportive shoes , a problem that got sorted as soon as I started work and could afford decent ones again. I was sometimes a sharp pain in the ball of my foot as though I've been stabbed, and sometimes it was cramp-like, other times it was a hot, burning sensation. And then there was the incredibly sensitive big toe, once the dog's whiskers just brushed me and I had to scrape myself off the ceiling because it was such a shock. All of these symptoms have eased off now my BGs are lower though.

I nearly forgot, I treated myself to a footspa with massage attachments and use it regularly, it really helps.

Yes, my BS are running a bit high, but that are always either high or low, not much in the middle as I'm brittle!

After 40+ years i have no other symptoms, but I'd rather not get sore feet!
