Hi Guys
Was just after a little advice about my readings, theres nothing wrong with them im staying in single figures daily now BUT im still feeling light headed and very sweaty some points in the day, like about 45 minutes ago i had to sit down and stop cleaning felt dizzy and was only 5.3 so nothing wrong there.Monday I had the same situation I was making tea and same symptoms but was 5.1 so again know worries there....Is it because im active when it happens?

Sounds to me more like blood pressure.

Have you been sleeping ok recently ?

Losing sleep can make you feel a bit dizzy sometimes. 🙂

Hi Steff,
Any chance your blood sugar was a fair bit higher as in 8 or 9 before the cleaning? Perhaps a rapid drop in levels is causing the problem. How long now since you have managed to get into single figures all the time (great result) could it be your body adjusting to normal levels again?

Good point Rob my sleep unusually for me has been eratic Friday night i slept on the sofa till 03.45 and Sunday morning I was up till 2 and slept on and off till 3 the following day....its the weekends only when this happens though.Shall I suggest a BP check?

Its been since the middle of October Sue,can it be the result of normal levels then? thats a good thing i guess, I shall have to say I dunno about the levels before cleaning. 🙄
 
Keep an eye on it Steff. My guess is that you are slowly getting used to the better levels. It took me several months (if not a year plus) for those horrid false-hypo feelings to subside.

But if it keeps happening, then go to see your GP. Maybe something else is going on.

I would say go see your GP if it persists or if you feel faint more than you're comfortable with.

I sometimes feel a bit light headed when Ive been rushing around (not often🙄) or bending down, etc so it doesn't necessarily indicate a problem but as with anything, if it doesn't improve over time or gets worse, don't hesitate to make an appointment.

Cheers Rob I will do, feels like I have neglected my GP lately🙂
 
Keep an eye on things. It may be blood pressure or you were high before you started cleaning and things dropped rapidly. Another friend was told if she was going to do cleaning have regular short breaks and sit for 5-10 minutes.

Thanks Caroline I may well do that, cause im the type who spends 2 hours on cleaning instead of doing little short bouts x
 
I wish I was like you Steff, I leave mine that long it takes me a week when I do it!
 
I can feel my levels dropping sometimes, I'll check and they'll be fine but then if I check again they've continued dropping.
It's quite disconcerting as I feel the beginnings of hypo type feelings at 7!!
I find it amazing how it affects people differently.
Maybe you need to get a cleaner then you won't have the problem? 😉
 
I don't have to worry about cleaning, due to my ongoing treatment my stamina levels are shockingly low. The doctor told me it could be months until they're back to normal. Needless to say I have been medically advised to avoid any strenuous activity, and cleaning definately counts in my book. :D
