Has anyone with diabetes self isolated due to the concern of catching the virus as our immune systems are lower than the norm?
Yes, since 10 March and I expect to have to maintain it until the end of July, if not longer. Not only am I diabetic but immune system compromised. Despite having the flu jab every year, I catch everything going and it wipes me out for weeks at a time. My friends and family have known for years I am paranoid about avoiding sick people, so this is not new to me. I have 42 days Nuut supplies, a full freezer, the powdered milk I got for my (now cancelled) trip to Madeira. But I didn't panic buy, I always have lots of stock. I will however run out of loo rolls!!!! But I'm old enough to remember using newspaper on a hook in the loo.

I look after my 81 year old mother who is bedbound in a hospital bed at home,She has 8 carers entering the home every day to give personal care,I cook for mum and feed her and run the house.
I'm very worried I have no idea what's going to happen if Mother or I become ill and what's going to happen if the carers become ill,mum already has bad lungs from problems associated with eating and drinking with dementia,as food and drink can enter the lungs, she has just had antibiotics a couple of weeks ago.She is unable to clear anything with a cough.
It is a difficult situation for you, unfortunately I can't offer you any reassurance.
I have heard many politicians and reporters ask the various Cabinet minister's who have been of telly, and they are trotting out the party line but seem to have no idea on the Social Care System. I have also seen representatives from the Social Care Sector, been interviewed and they are also aking the questions but they don't seem to be getting clear answers either.
My son was saying this morning when a Minister was on the telly, another group of carers who seem to be being neglected in all this, is young carers. He said if schools dont close down these children will take more time off to care for their parents , and get further behind with their school work than they are already behind on.
I wish you well, hope you can keep yourself and your mum as well as possible.

Perhaps off topic, but how about joining international volunteer group to stop the Covid-19 outbreak?
See this Twitter thread: They have a group Slack workspace, which I have joined, for organising and sharing ideas.
