That made me laugh Steph...and is about right...up and down...up and down...back there next week...not going to get stressed about it...will press on and hope for better control next week...thank you.sorry to hear that you seem to be on a seesaw - hopefully you can get off and go on a roundabout instead (hum, perhaps not a roundabout - I think this analogy needs a bit of work..)
Bit of a pain going back and forth...once I get the levels right hoping I can have monthly appointments...can't quite seem to get the right number...however now it is higher than it should be...apparently easier to bring it down to a decent level...fingers crossed for next week.Oh dear Bubbsie so sorry to hear this. You know how the saying goes ' If at not you don't succeed, try try & try again' (Somethjng like that!) But you know what i mean. It must be a pain for you going back & forth for tests. Hoping you'll get it right soon. Thinking of you x
Beginning to feel might be easier to get that lottery win...than my INR right.Oh pooh sticks, was hoping you've have found the magic number, but as you say there's nothing you can do other than what you're already doing. So I'll cross my fingers that next time's the charm 🙂
Aiming for that Sadhbh...thank you.Sorry your levels were off, I hope you are luckier next week.
Hi NJ...how are you today?...better ..nothing I can do but wait...hoping I'll hit target next week...at least they are keeping an eye on it...so positive in that respecti have only just seen this, sending you all my support and thinking of you. Well done for not getting stressed and hope your levels start behaving.
INR levels stand for International Normalised Ratio Mark...I take Warfarin...had a DVT...use it to stop the clot travelling...enlarging...or reoccurring...levels should ideally be between 2.5 to 3...mine have been all over the place...difficult to keep it level...went from being too low at 1.5...to too high at 3.8 yesterday...there is a risk of a severe bleed when using it...so the higher the levels the longer it will take your blood to clot...although its too high...been advised far easier to get it back within range now...hoping to hit target next week...thanks.I know nothing of INR levels or what they are, but sounds frustrating that you can't control what's happening. Hope you can get it sorted soon, Bubbs.
It's fine AJ...just annoying and inconvenient...it has happened before...I'm sure I'll get there by next week...you concentrate on that scan...hope all goes wellSo sorry to hear that the levels still aren't under control. I hope that they are much better next week xx
