Thank you so much for your time. My husband has had type2 for about 6 years now and on all appropriate medication and he takes it. My problem is we have both been married before, and he ate a really junk food type diet previously, but I like to cook etc we have been together 20yrs now and he still insists on chips, burgers, all ready stuff I call junk, we do have good meals but you can see his preference! No matter how hard I try for the healthy options he will say not hungry just to miss meals and have junk. His logic is "well if I changed my habits now, it will prob make me Ill. Even diabetic nurse advises, yet when he gets all his results they say cholesterol and others good! He does not swim, or gym, we used to together as we both have heart conditions but he is working. My worry is now that he is waking up wet through, just lije he has walked out of tge shower, feels unsteady, lightheaded, i do tge usual, drink etc but these hypos are becomming more frequent, i have just TOLD him he is at GP to get sorted. He gas a genuine phobia for needles hence why he wont see GP or go hispitals, breajs out in cold sweats. But ge will soon be on injections i think, his own fault though.
