Relationship to Diabetes
Type 2
Hi. I was diagnosed as type 2 in January 2023 with HbA1C 87, tested as feeling really rubbish. I’ve tried to implement both DN advise and reading your messages on this forum because of this In August HbA1C was 41. I’ve lost 40lbs so something is going right though I definitely feel i have lots to improve on. Just wanted to say thank you all for sharing your knowledge and experience.

Welcome to the forum @Suzie72 and congratulations on your delurking!

Glad you have made an account to begin posting now, and glad too that you found the forum threads helpful since January.

Great to hear that the combination of suggestions from your diabetes nurse, and the shared experiences on the forum have helped you significantly reduce your HbA1c. Well done!

Many congratulations on a fantastic improvement in HbA1c result and amazing weight loss! You should be extremely proud of yourself. Well done and good luck with continued success!
