It looks like I have another new sign of a hypo, as I was tied up trying to do an important email to the solicitors I forgot about tea. Towards the end of composing I noticed that I was getting ratty and put this down to saying what I thought in the email. I also started with the usual shaking / shivering I normally get when hypo and just put it down to what I was doing.

Hit the send button and thought something is not right, so tested and was hypo at 3.5, another case I should of listened to what my body was saying :( .

So I will have to add getting ratty to my recognisable hypo signs

Only hic up is there is a snotty email winging it's way to the solicitors, good job they needed a kick up the back side. :D

I learned long since that, like driving, I always test my BG before sending an email. Or indeed, posting a message here, because like you, I get ratty when hypo, which believe it or not, is out of character for me.

However, folk like solicitors don’t count. My brother is a solicitor.

And if anyone moans about a ratty email, you can always say you were hypo, but didn’t test till after you pressed send, whether you were hypo or not😎

It's unusual for me to be ratty, with moving house and having a hic up with the sale, a solicitors appearing to do naff all put it down to that, slight hic up sent a text as well to a special friend and not my usual type of message :(

well just concentrate on making things right with your friend - they are worth far more to us than solicitors in the end !

She is definitely worth far more than any solicitor. 🙂
