Annual review and T2

Well I have just checked my blood test results on the NHS app and it's all looking positive. HbA1c down to 61, which I am really pleased about. Previous test only a month ago so I wasn't expecting much change. Cholesterol down to 3.9 and LDL 2. Thought that might be higher as I have been eating more butter and cheese since reducing carbs. Triglycerides down to 1.5 and liver/kidney checks in range and satisfactory.
I have a follow up appointment with the diabetes nurse on 20th so I am feeling pretty good. Also gained a little more weight and muscle definition so losing the saggy scrawny appearance from earlier this year.
Onwards and downwards!

And your HbA1c would seem likely to ease down still futher when there is less overlap between samples?

Thanks. I only increased the gliclazide on 15th Oct so I am hoping the trend was already downwards. Original intention was to test after 8 weeks from mid Oct which would be just before Christmas. Don't know if they will do that now. Hoping for a couple of small celebratory treats at Christmas when the family come to visit.
