Hi everyone totally new to this site never done anything like this before. I was diagnosed 16 yrs ago, diet/pills progressed on to insulin + pills 2001, now I've moved onto Basal Bolus Insulin Therapy. Carbohydrates are tricky little devils aren't they. All this at 59yrs young.http://www.diabetessupport.co.uk/boards/images/smilies/confused.gif

Hi Andi and welcome! I'm a newbie myself, in fact the boards themselves aren't that old LOL. I started like you on diet and pills and progressed to insulin. And am now taking it twice daily along with tablets.

hi andy, im new to the boards myself. i was diagnosed with type 1 aged 20 so about 9 years ago now. i still get things wrong as we all probably do, the trick is to find out what works for you and try and stick to it, but sometimes it will start to do things different to.
