I am type 2 and my numbers for a m before food , are between 4 and 7. but just lately they have been over 9,
i have just had a bad chest infection, but i finished the course of medicine a week ago . should i be worried.

Illness is known to raise levels, some find levels rise before they recognise they are coming down with an illness.

I’d give yourself a couple more weeks to recover before worrying about it. Your body might still be getting over being ill. Guessing your exercise levels are lower too if you’re just getting over a bad chest infection? That could be contributing to the rise so if you’re up to going for a walk a bit more perhaps that would help?
